James R. Jacobs 1953-2010

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear friend and brother - James “Big Jim” Jacobs.  His big heart beat it’s last on Saturday February 6th.  He had been with us for over twenty great years here and helped build the shop into what it is today.  Many may remember him as the big man who anchored the front counter.   His friends will always remember him as a solid rock – in his personality and his drumming - with a big heart of gold and a booming laugh that we will never forget.

Jim was a member of the Cherokee Nation and his ashes will be spread over Cherokee in the Spring.

Goodbye brother.  Rest In Peace.
